Telebrands and the supposedly Indestructible Wallet
Ok, let me prefaces this with Alumawallet has been on the market for less then 2 years? Alumawallet has a 3 year warranty. Mine broke. Now when I called TeleBRANDS to see about getting the manufacturers information for a replacement UNDER THE WARRANTY, they just kept asking we need your order information. I kept saying I bought it at Walmart. Response was "We can't do anything unless we have your order information." They hung up on me twice after I asked for a supervisor or someone who could give me the information. Oh and I have had my wallet for less the 7 months. Finally I was given their mailing address on the 3rd try, but I found this on their website and I am now leery of sending it back:
Note: If we receive your item back in our warehouse and it does not meet our return policy terms, then we will not issue you a refund or send you a replacement. Such a return also will not be sent back to you.
This company then refused to give me their legal departments contact information.
This is a consumer warning DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, the hinges are cheap and faulty and I am not the only one who has had this issue. They use FALSE advertising saying its indestructible, give you a warranty that they won't honor and tell you they will steal your product should you send it back improperly.
Monetary Loss: $19.

Piece of ***. Didn't last a week
My plastic snap broke in less than 24 hours!!! But it was a gift. Bad rep.
I also bought mine at Walmart. I figured for $10, I should get at least a year out of it.
It lasted about 8 months.
The hinges ARE cheap.
Very narrow pieces of whatever this *** is made out of...
and it doesn't seem like aluminum.
I know better than to try and get a replacement.
I also know I will not ever be buying one again.
I found a leather item similar to this at Walmart for $5.00. Save your money.
I puposly smashed mine with my gmc jimmy. Of course it broke.
I call Shinnanagins!! 8)
My hinges broke in 2 days :(
Lesson learned I will never buy TeleBRAND ever again
I thought that personal attacks would be deleted. If someone has a complaint then let the complain as long as it is true and uses no profanity.Quit attacking people that have valid complaints just to get your name on the computer.
Wow. I had the same experience with buying the cake pops for my daughter as part of her christmas presents.
I am now in the process of cancelling an order for 118.00 that could have been avoided if u could confirm your payment. They obviously no they are ripping people off with there misleading check out. Whats worse is that the customer service reps seem immune to these type of complaints.
Im just gonna dispute the charge and hope they dont try to charge it again. All this for a piece of *** that my kid wants and mite use once.lol
:x
I agree with disgusted. So Sad, get a life.
All you are doing is surfing around pissedconsumer looking for people to insult.
Wow, you're cool. If you can't be constructive, then you're really of no use here except to be annoying.
TO So Sad: I have purchased TV advertisments before and been very satisfied with the product. I have also bought some of TV products from retail stores.
It's not TV items that are bad, JUST THE TELEBRAND COMPANY!!! And if you don't purchase TV advertised items what were you doing on this website - GET A LIFE!!
ordered alumawallet on 17th. False advertising on tv because you have to upgrade to get the features of "indestructable" and "waterproof".
Before I could cancel it the order went through without asking for confirmation. Called and cancelled on 17th, and 3 times on 18th after it showed up on checking and was told they still could not find the order. It sat in pending for 3 days and then dropped off checking and then on 22nd telebrands pushed the order through and then was on vacation for 4 days.
The company has no one in charge that you can talk to. VERY BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!
Agreed; perhaps "Telebrands" is not the best company to be buying from?
Stop buying as seen on TV junk you sucker.
